About Rubis:
Ever since he was a wee little smeet, Rubis has always been fasinated by things in the air. He constantly threw anything he could, just so he could see it soar. Not soon after Skye and Pixl adopted him, a friend of the family, Diana passed away.. and they took in her daughter, Sapphire. Rubis and Saphy were raised together, as best friends. (They never considered themselves siblings)

When Rubis was 7 years old, he got into a fight with some other kids his age. They promtply tore the end of his left antennae off. Rubis became deaf in that antennae, even though the end did grow back. However.. it didn't grow back in the same way. Instead of having one antennae blade like most irkens, his antennae grew a second blade... but the question is, why?

Almost the same day, Rubis' parents bought Rubis his very own Spittle Runner. It was red, his favorite color. He entered in many Junior Races, and was quite good at it.

When Rubis was ten years old, he discovered that he was adopted. His real, biological mother was dead, murdered by his biological father, who is now a registered serial killer. Rubis felt betrayed, his parents had lied to him all his little life. he decided that life on the massive was not for him, and that he didn't belong here with this family. Rubis planned to take his Spittle Runner and leave. He asked Saphy to come with him. Saphy was hesitant.. but she knew that where ever Rubis would go, she would go too. At a young age of 10, Rubis and Saphy left home and set off for a journey into space.

Fun Facts:
Rubis has HUGE stage fright.
One of his favorite games is "Marbles".
Rubis has three names because the Lerus family is greatly influenced by human tradition.
