has included me in her Fanfic of the new Pokemon REBURST manga Info here another info here and some scans straight from Kodansha itself .ahaha i got so lazy with the coloring after awhile.
Sceptile's 'Burst' forme was lazy and was really the charater's original self. :T i should come up with a Sceptile one.
i think this manga is pretty cool! its kinda like nintendo's way of saying yes to the Gijinkas.
Eevee Forme
i wasn't sure how to represent the 'burst' but she does have claws coming out of her paw-like hands.
Charizard Forme
as i realize how the forms should be the other is actually better design wise.
basically its Knight Armor complete with arm guards, and other armor name i cant remember.
Absol Forme
1. the top with black short sleeves and the oval part is same as the one on Absol's head.
2. the hind legs of absol but made into boots.
3. a crown and represents the thing on absol's head
4. the arm things stop at the elbow and have three claws. good for slashing stuff, or people...
5. the pants part with the tail attached to it.
though when the trainers do 'BURST' their whole body changes to that of the pokemon inside the 'Burst Heart' so its like armor in the shape of a pokemon.

color coded goodness.Β
background layer- the scanned imaged with a low opacity
dark blue- ppl
pinkish color- background
green-panels (i try and do nice ones instead of sketching over the sketch
red- word bubbles aand dialogue. its bright enough to stand out from the other colors
sometimes i try to do a good lineart the first time but i found myself going over all the ppl and background in black.Β
proly not gonna do that this time around and just change all the colors to black after coloring it.

oh the second link doesnt have the manga... but i did get to read it. well some pages. though i dont know much japanese (only took 1 year of it in high school).
i think theres a link in my desc. i also read a "read re-burst" on youtube, i found it funny.
I do too. its like Nintendo(game freak, or whoever does pokemon) finally appreciates the idea of Ginjinkas( cant spell).
i do like to see the artists interpretation of the humanistic pokemon.

I have decided to make a manga instead of writing a story, so it will take longer than expected. Also, I have decided to accept only one Burst per person. I chose Charizard for you since Absol was already taken by a college I know in person. I hope you understand and accept what I have said.

all day today i was drawing her <_<. first my sis said she looked like a man. lol... then i kept drawing her, lineart after lineart...
finally today she is perfect!
i did have help with the anatomy. i used "Understanding Anatomy" just search understanding at the top and you find it. an really helpful tutorial or look at my fave under "tutorials" link>>[link]
so far in white nuzlocke, strips 11+12 halfway linearted. i have two sets of 4 panels and the fifth being the space at the bottom. the bottom space will have a nice detailed color while the rest will be cell shaded.
and part 13 will be a special ending... wow unlucky number 13... LOL
its gonna super long strip in black and white and some color for added effects.

And anatomy is always hard to do. @.@ (but to hide that problem I always draw long legs on my characters, lol) Hmm... I'll take a look at that tutorial!
