Description
You find yourself in ___(choose a dangerous environment...can be any)__Pretend you are evolving, but as a single individual rather than a species. You behave like the evolution of a species though, and so if you aren't in danger, you won't evolve! There is another way you can evolve, however, and that's through mating selection! but the way we will handle that is non-mature (I have a plan I swear). Also there is competition, so you will have to adapt to compete for survival of the fittest!
So in this RP you will be TF'd to survive the environment wherever you go! This means partial transformations almost all the time, and multiple transformations as well. This one is gonna be really freeform, so if you have an idea, tell me in the notes or message and we can work it into a fun game!
And if you like, you can start off as whatever you like, but be warned! you won't end up the same as you started!!!!

(Desert it is then)
You wake up naked in the shade of towering rocks. There seems to be a vulture overhead and some strange plants growing here and there, including a cactus not too far from you.

You notice that you are really hungry, but you technically can survive for days and days without food.

There are plenty around you.

You begin to get very dizzy, and suddenly you pass out. The next thing you remember is waking up and it's dark. THe moonlight is bright and you can hear something sniffing nearby. You are very sore all over from the cactus drink.

Suddenly, out of the dark a strangely hyper feminine figure stepped. She didn't look human. She had a narrow waist like a wasp with a large abdomen attached covered in orange fuzz. Her legs clicked a little as she walked and her eyes were larger than normal. She had antennae on top of her head that were stumpy and wide. Around her lips was a set of jaws like ant mandibles, which seemed to move with her facial expression. She raised an orange brow. " you look like an easy kill"

She stayed put, unflinching in your stance change. She took a step forward, her abdomen pulsing gently. You notice a glint in the moonlight...there is a long stinger at the end.

*gets ready for flight or fight*

She jumped forward and grabbed your wrist with her strong hands. You find that she is overpowering you. Her hands are spreading your arms and her stinger is getting ready to sting you. "oh..you're a cute one" she says, licking her lips.

*stabs her between her adomin and taurso (between the plates)*

*kicks her in the crotch *

She winces, "ouch" but doesn't seem to writhe in pain like a male creature would. Her stinger comes down into your chest. You can feel the sharp pain instantly, but then also a burning that is exquisite filling up your body.

She is flung over your head and falls behind you.

*jumps on top of her and attacks the neck*

As you jump, you find you have an added surge of energy coming from somewhere. You seem to be adapting to the venom. She hisses and grabs your hands again, keeping you from cutting her, "agh, you are a resilient one! too bad you and I couldn't mate...or could we?" she looked into your eyes.

Uh no*uses legs to pin her arms down*

Her stinger begins to move. "why not? you are obviously strong..."

*before she can sting me I stab between the abdomen and the taurso in an attempt to stop her control of it*

She screams. "okay okay I give in!" she yells.

Why should I keep you alive?

"I..I can give you some of my traits!! I know how this adaptation works...it's been ages since I've met one like you. You can grow and adapt to survive. But if you don't survive before you adapt, what good is that power? That's where I come in. If we pass on our genes to each other, you will absorb some of my traits, and I will absorb some of yours..." she said carefully.
(passing on traits to each other is the best I can do to simulate mating selection. that way, you don't have to switch perspectives to offspring. instead, you are you and your mate's own offspring in a way.)

"If you like I could also show you the lay of the land...I have been at this for a while. I was hoping to eat you because there isn't much to eat here, but maybe if we work together...and you seem reasonable...maybe we can find more food than we could by ourselves?" she sounded desperate.
(to exchange traits you both need to be willing and it changes you both to have some traits of the other. you have to just be touching with the palms of your hands on each other)

She turned her head to the side. Evidently getting this pun wasn't something she evolved to do. At this point she was bleeding. "good, good. let's exchange our genes then!" she placed her hands on you.

You suddenly felt a weight land in your stomach, and a knocking in your head. You also could feel yourself a little out of breath. Suddenly you grew an abdomen with a stinger on it and you became like her, wasp-like (though with no wings). You noticed that she became more human looking, her mandibles falling off like paper and hair growing so that she had a full head of brown hair. She was no longer covered in orange fuzz in places either. She was basically a woman with an abdomen and unusually big eyes.

(haha okay, so it was a sharp rock, not a dagger.)
She smiles and gets up, "follow me" and walks, holding your hand to the side of one of the pillars. She begins to climb it, "meet me at the top!"

She helped you at the very top. From here you could see the whole area. It looked like there were forests to the south, a large river to the north, and desert in a band from east to west.

She looks at you. "you think so? The forest has the most filled out ecosystem, aka the most predators. But that's also because it has the most abundant sources of food. If you are looking for less predators I'd say stay put right where we are...but even here, there are predators" she motioned to herself.

She shakes her head, "the river has more predators than here...I'm telling you there's no place here that's "safe" as in "no predators". I've almost been eaten in all of these places" she says. She shrugs, "but if you wanted to try farming, I would suggest the forest because #1 we won't have time to dig in the ground and cultivate and #2 the forest already has plenty of things to pick and eat...if you're into that sort of thing."

She smiled, "I'm glad you take my advice so easily" and then began climbing down.

When you got the bottom you noticed that she was looking around frantically at the ground. "footprints. someone has been there. We're being tracked. we better hurry"

She grabs you, "duck!" and pulls you down just in time to dodge a large club-like tail as it swung through the air and cracked the pillar you had just climbed. Standing nearby was a man who looked like an ankylosaurus, but standing upright.
