why is it that whenever you revive one they disappear??

I'm not actually sure. The game doesn't make it too clear what happens to them afterwards. If they survive, I assume they go back out to recruit more Guardians.

This is fantastic. You can almost hear the sad music, the soft rustle of sand, the clink of small bits of armor as the reverent guardian reaches for the dead Ghost. Even the inquisitive angle of the living Ghost is spot on.Β

Always happy when I find one of these little lights... Must be awful to lay around alone, apart from your guardian, forgotten somewhere in the darkness... and whenever you find one, those last signs of life are like "yay! thank you! what took ya so long?"

The art has very clean lines, and is rather beautiful.
I also feel an emotion connection as the Warlock gazes down at the discarded Ghost... It reminds me of how sad it is how they're left, scattered and forgotten.
It's also one of the reasons why I love finding them.
