Description
This one took a whiiile. But I learned a fair bit from it, and I'm fairly happy with the results. Almost lost the file when it was nearly complete; a photoshop crash caused the original file to disappear, but I was able to recover it from the tmp files. I'm going to be much more diligent about making backups in the future.Related content

Oh, could you please design a torso for him some point in the future. I'm actually basing a robot character for this (smutty) story I'm writing where he is an assistant to the main protagonist, only as a fighter/warrior rather than a Mage because my main character is already a Mage. He fits very well with the whole fantasy-diesel-punk style the story is set in because while he is a machine, he has this magical-golem wine that just fits perfectly. Plus his build is exactly what I'm looking for in the story; he's smooth and sleek but he's strong and more resilient because he's a robot.
I'm understand if you don't want to and I won't force you. I was just hoping that you would have a torso to go along with the arms legs and head of its not to much trouble

well, the sketch here is all i went from, it shows a bit of the lower torso? It's mostly a mechanical spine with a squat cylinder on it.

Thanks, I can work with this. I could add a bit of some bulk to him, give him a cleaver and a shield. Recolor him and even give him a hood.

Two things:
1 - Always save your files three times past the number you think is necessary.
2 - This is awesome. Β Mechanical body with an earthy color palette. Β It's like cyberpunk magic, which I have always thought is an under-used style (though it was highly popular on 70s and 80s album covers). Β I used to have the same opinion of steampunk, but then everyone else did, too. Β haha Β Both are cool. Β I got off topic. Β Is this for a project of some kind?

from now on, my backups of backups will have backups.
And thanks, i too feel like magepunk is an underused and underrated style these days (though you can find a lot of it in games like Magic: The Gathering or League of Legends).
As for this piece specifically, it's just a piece of personal work, and isn't for anything in particular. That being said, I often cannibalize these things into projects they fit with, or adapt them into something bigger if I have a good idea for it. So it might be used for something, someday.

That is the way I play Skyrim, and I like to think that Skyrim is full of life lessons. Β haha
True. Β And I believe 2K is using it in "Battleborn."
Sounds like a good plan. Β At the very least you have a fully designed asset at your disposal whenever you need it.
