Rey was pleased to find that she wasn't nauseous at all when she woke up. However, the hunger remained. As she got up, she noticed that while her breasts hadn't grown much, her belly had. It had pushed out a few inches further overnight. Her train of thought was obstructed by a growl of hunger from her stomach. She immediately went to her pack and scarfed down some more rations.

The young Jedi explored some of the island and trained, though she did feel a bit more tired than usual.

"I HAVE been eating like Unkar Plutt," she muttered as she trudged up the mountain towards her hut.

That night, after the sun had gone down over the ocean, Rey sat outside of her hut by a fire. She ate diligently, leaving no crumb in her portion pack uneaten.

She took time to think about what had transpired in the last year. Luke, Leia, and Han were all gone. The only parental figures that she ever had. She realized that she would be dead too if Ben didn't sacrifice himself for her. Now, it was all on her to rebuild the Jedi order, to make them better than they were. But she wasn't alone. No, she had friends that would help her.

Rey looked down at her belly. It had definitely grown over the course of the day. Now it had looked like she had swallowed a small melon whole. She placed a hand on the rounded surface, and gasped as she felt some faint squirming from within. Just gas, she presumed.
