The forest series is now complete!! ...just kidding, there is no forest series. But I had to draw such environment a lot lately, didn't I? I'm just glad they all look different - I had elements to distinguish them, so it wasn't hard actually.

This time, due to the mysterious/creepy-ish setting, I got rid of the foliage completely. Go away leaves, I never liked you! ...but there's the ivy, huh.

Speaking of the ivy, I liked how it turned out. It wasn't fun to do - I made a custom brush for it, but there's the need to work a lot with it to gain a decent result. It's not like those magnificent brushes that are perfect with one stroke. Whatever.

Annnd no grass either, just a bunch of rocks and bare ground. I actually like to draw grass, it's satisfying. I went through DA stocks this time to search for references, that it sound an obvious thing to do, but somehow I always searched for them on Google. That is not a bad thing itself, but I noticed that stocks here are more, huh, inspiring? If it makes sense.

For this piece, this image in particular sparkled my synapses - so share it is a good and right thing:

What else, huh... I kept the background bare not only for the atmosphere, but also because a most predominant aspect had to be the vapour. I wanted to play with its transparencies, so to have super detailed stuff behind would just increase the mess. Though... it's messy the same xD. I hope is a comprehensible kind of mess, anyway. xP

Speaking of mess (uhm, by the way, or I have nothing to write under a drawing, or I go wild with 1000 words that aren't likely to be read. There's no in between.) I recoloured the skin so many times I wanted to cry D: I couldn't get the shadows, no matter how. I don't know (or care) if it's unrealistic like this or whatever, I decided to settle to what looked better. Enough with experimental lighting for a while

Enough with the wall of text (though I could go on *evil eye glint*), otherwise when I will have nothing to write under the next submission (because I already know I won't, it's fate) I will feel bad for that.
