Yep, Raven from FE Rekka no Ken, the character I chose.I made him doing the Japanese Iai stance...sort of.
Hope you like it. 8)
And, thanks for creating this wonderful project! Can't wait to see the completed piece.
My compliments to the compilers. Must be hell of a work.
On a side note, this is the first male character submitted! lol

Technically, for iai, his hand would be reversed, so we see more of the meat of his palm, hand facing more upwards.

he's the only character that reached max level at the end of the game. I made him use a brave axe and regal blade for the final chapter. His max speed really helps me out

one mistake that my friend made in Shadow Dragon is that he never used Ogma. He never knew that mercenary is the best in any Fire Emblem game D:

Very well done! The detailing that you added to the sword and scabbard are top notch, and the body proportions are damn near perfect. The only suggestion I have is that you might want to consider rounding the tip of the nose a tiny bit, but that's just my opinion. Either way, "Keep up the good work!"

Hmm, rounding up the tip of nose is a good idea. Though I've tried before, and I screwed up, leaving the pic to look awkward. lol
I'll try to practice drawing round-nose! It looks more realistic afterall. 8)

I used a brush-pen for lineart, and brush-headed marker for coloring. 8)

I really love the stance. I like it when people use an actual stance instead of making one up. Not that I'm not guilty of it hehe.

I did practice a great deal till I got it right.
Like, doing the stance myself in front of the mirror. lol
It sounds ridiculous, but it actually works.
Markers aren't that hard to use once you get used to it. Believe me, when I started, I screwed big time. XD

oh yes. i'm doing marisa and i want to use a katana stance, but it's going to be hard
i actually do something similar... if i want to paint a difficult stance, i use Photobooth on my mac and photograph myself doing it so i can use it as reference XD

True, the Tower of Valni made it hard to fail any of the chapters. Its your best friend on hard mode though. XD

Well, for the story, Rekka no Ken is the prequel of Sealed Sword.
But Seal Sword came out BEFORE Rekka no Ken.

lol Sealed Sword is really hard. Especially stage 7. It's seriously a nightmare. But after that, it somehow starts to click.

Raven's a pretty cool character, but rather lightweight for a mercenary. He needs a bit more CON to let him use the heavy axes easily. That aside, he's a good character and pretty reliable in battle.

I still think he's one of the best character around though.

I was sort of spoiled, because I played FE8 before FE7, so I was used to Gerik and his high CON.
Mind you, Raven was no slouch for me. But, one time, I had a lv12 Sain, as a Cavalier, with 17 STR.

Lol my Rebecca has higher strength than Raven, actually.
But somehow her Dexerity is lower than Raven's.
Never played Sain till the end, but I remember seeing him having such high strength.

I have trouble getting Rebecca's STR to rise. I have no worries with Hector - I can just point him in the direction of the enemy and he'll kill things. Unless it has a sword, then he's in strife.

Skill can sometimes be an issue, but having all the benefits of an armoured unti without being weak to armour-killer weapons is cool.

He and Ephraim share the same stat caps, which is annoying because Ephraim has great growth rates. Sadly, his sister gets better caps.
