Ephesians 6:12

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

John 16:33

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

Sins, Stresses, Addictions, Anything! when faced head on, they appear like insurmountable beings,
something that cannot be resisted nor freed from; and sometimes we just accept this as reality and give up..

Take courage as David did with Goliath, a youth amidst a whole army who would not face Goliath, they just quivering in their armor.
Yet he stepped up and struck down this beast of a man because he had this confidence:

"..You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel,
whom you have taunted. This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands.." 1 Samuel 17:45

Be strong and courageous! though in this life we will have struggles and pain;
Jesus has overcome the world, and He will lead us out of the darkness and into the light. Trust Him.
