Description
I ended up doodleing some Soaked16 while trying to figure out what to do for the start of April. Now properly, that's "My super soaked sweet 16" by jbwarner86.deviantart.com/My head-canon (for someone else's fiction) for JB's underwater photography model character miss Jamie Sheridan is that she does impulsive underwater photogs in random places around the city. Closed pools. Deep ditches. Drainage gates. Construction sites. Whatever she can crawl into, self-photo, and get away with when the mood hits her. And here, suburban-edge drain-ditches filled with settled mud and leaves after the spring thaw. I'd like to see some of that sort of thing from JB, but he prefers the austerity of clean bathroom bathtubs and in-ground pools.

Ha! Nicely done! Yeah, I doubt Danielle or Jamie would ever shoot in a drainage ditch...but it does seem like the kind of thing Jocelyn from Forever 16 would do! Thanks!

This is the one that I thought would score the least approval from you. Of course, I didn't expect this to come to your attention, either. I grew up in a old suburban area, and there were ditches taller than the children that wern't allowed to play in them. So I'd be walking to the school bus, passing by nearly-meter-deep ditches of still glass-clear water under tall trees. Or black leaf mire where some kid _had_ jumped in and stirred things up! Cities have standing water, especially in spring, (and aside from the temperature) so why not use it?
