Description This was done a week ago, constructed from various paint sheets, fractal renderings, and other analog and digital constructs I had not found a purpose for initially. It gave me a whole totemic vibe, and I finally found a name for it when I picked up the new Vernon reid album, Other True Self.

Very cool work! Its got a sort of western-coastal indian face design happening slightly in the bottom. Really cool.

I like this one. I love the colors you chose. And the layout ( I dont know the proper term), but the way you set it up is great. Very visually appealing!

You work reminds me of a teacher I studied with at Xavier University. Ever hear of a guy named John Scott? Anyway, a very "alive" piece. You're quite gifted.

It's all the sleep depravation. After you spend most days on the sliver of borderland between lucidity and thinking "I am The Walrus, Koo-Koo-Ka-Joo!" from being in class, at the office, and 6 hours a day on a train...colors seem to just go buggy.

Seeing Vernon Reid play live is a unique experience to say the least. I think you definitely captured his eclectic energy, yet you've retained those neutral colors to keep it grounded, which is consistent to how Vernon always seems to have the heart of the song he's playing in mind, always remaining "glued" to the song, so to speak.

It's somewhat grounding in a way...all that tapped power, so calm on stage (I have seen him with LC and Yohimbe Bros at least a half dozen times at this point).

Thank you.

The album has been on nonstop since yesterday and it is informing numerous ideas I have playing around on a sketchpad.

That's beautiful in an almost trippy, psychadelic way. I like the texture and repitition in it. Cool stuff.

A very special composition, I like that it's symmetric but not entirely. It's very energetic and strong. I get the feeling of something bursting out from beneath and coming towards me.

I love how you manage to incorporate so many of your ideas into pieces, & how much they clearly evolve throughout the process. I've also always loved your use of symmetry. This piece is so.... tribal, I would say; it reminds me of Aztec lore, Quetzacoatl & the whole crew. Very rich, I like that hint of a face.
