I got the books by Diana Wynne Jones, of the Howl's Moving Castle series...I love the film when It came out, still do and I love the books just the same! They're so different but oh so fabulous!
Diana Wynne Jones is a fantastic author, I just couldn't put the books down! TurnipHead and Markl/Micheal on the left were very much inspired by the film. [In the book Michael is about 16 and the scarecrow is scary..]
Sophie and Howl are based more on their book versions.. I much prefer ginger howl, and I love ginger sophie!
Calcifer is in there too... but hes small

And that does make me a bit sad, but in your opinion, are they good? and if so, which one would be your favourite? if you can answer why without spoiling the novels I'd very much appreciate it

No problem. I hatled on reading them for ages, but found them all together and just went for it.
They are fantastic! Its really hard to choose between.
Howls Moving Castle is alot different from the movie, but is just as fantastic.
Castle in the Air has an Aladin like feel and is really action packed.
and House of Many ways is less action, but is very funny. [I laughed out loud alot, and I dont do that often] I think though, maybe House of many Ways is the best.. As its pretty much got everyone in it.
It dosent take long it fall in love with all the characters in all the books. I seriosuly couldnt put them down, It was a real shame to finish reading them. But not for long, Im gunna read them again when I get the chance!
Go for it, you wont be dissapointed!

Well I always though a ginger haired Howl defo suits his wackiness better, and I like the fact that its almost pink-ginger. And I love drawing people with orange hair, so knowing that Sophie was ginger at the end of the first book was fab lol!
