Nan Desu Kon '09 had a Greek astrology theme and I did 13 images for them. I tried to stick with the associated colors and gems, but mostly had fun with them.Also, the streaked hair is part of the NDK mascot design. Females have black hair with a white streak, and males with white hair and a black streak. In this case I went with dark hair rather than black.
I was tasked to make a t-shirt design, but wasn't sure which sign to choose for that as I didn't want to make a single one seem more important than the others. So I ended up going with Virgo since NDK took place under that sign this year. Seemed fair enough to me
She was also used for the program book cover and other items for the con.This is the version without the NDK logo, which would have been where the block pattern is.

The entire collection is beautiful! I first encountered Aquarius, my own sign, and was so struck by her that I sought out the rest of the collection. Really fabulous work. I think we did a great job not only sticking to the color patterns throughout, but also in being true to the personality of each individual sign. Very impressive!

I forgot to mention something what is the symbol for virgo, I can't seem to find it in the picture, and I'm talking about the m with a x at the end, I was looking for the symbol like the ones on the picture?

The only complain I have is: why Cancer and Sagittarius didn't get any color? .-. They'd be PERFECT in color too! Do you plan on coloring them later? (my Ma is Cancer BTW, and I'm Sagittarius... yeah, I'm prejudiced.

i like this so much! i used to hate being a Virgo cuz she is usually shown as the pure maiden and stuff. but this one makes me like being a Virgo more.
oh! and i tried to figure out which booth in the artist alley was urs but i failed at that xD and i didn't want to go up to someone thinking they were you and say "i've been watching you" lol
