What most saddened me about FF8 is probably that Laguna said "we have lots to talk about later" but we don't get to see any talks :C
So I offer you this - that dumbass try (and fail) to connect with his estranged son.

Laguna is just too easy to picture as "the lame dad" who their kids are ashamed of because of those dumb-dad-jokes and the #1 dad mugs. This on its own is amusing enough... But then you have Squall. He, on the other hand, is too easy to see as the stereotypical teenager with the bad poetry and "nobody understands me" schtick. Put them together and you got comedy gold. I mean, Squall's thoughts on the guy are more-or-less known already... And yeah. He's probably none too thrilled to be related.
Squall might slice him along with the cake. Blood glazing yay!
