Homewher I can see Bobbery being an intentional shout out to Drake since they're both games on Nintendo consoles. Nintendo games tend to do a lot of shout outs to each other.

Yeah Pokémon has a lot of reference to various pop culture. Like the TV shows\videogames that the playable characters seem to watch\play at the start of the game.
Also I'm pretty sure that the Roughneck Kirby with the Cleffa in his team, is actually a Kirby reference himself.
Cleffa kind of looks like a star, but also is roundish and pink, Kirby is a pink puffball and the games have a star motif themselves.
Although Roughneck Kirby is called Hiroto in the jap version, but that does'nt necessarily mean it is not a reference, right?
so maybe Bobbery is a reference to Drake.

Which, there actually was a Super Mario RPG, in which Mario travels a more Medieval Fantasy-like Mushroom Kingdom alongside a wood puppet named Geno and a cloud prince named Mallow, and the plot was more complex. I think that Mario was the only one of the usual characters to be in there.
There were also the partners in time series, which had Mario and Luigi alongside their baby selves.
But I mean, instead of jumping on enemies the main mode of attack could be hitting them with an hammer or slicing them with a sword. And there could be magic level, and once Mario reaches a specific level he gets the magic for that level.

Crossovers are my specialty. Mainly warcraft, diablo and skyrim, with some items from mario used as reagents for cooking and alchemy, like an ice flower milkshake or mammoth burgers seasoned in fire flower petals.

But then again it depends in whatever fandom I am into, usually I'm only into a specific fandom for like an year.
I also am really into doing Susan Wainwright stuff... not that she's my favorite premade sim (I don't really have favorite sims beside my own CAS sim Tess Holloway and ANY Dovanice sim. And sims\legacies of whatever is my fandom at the time.) but just, I used to need her a lot and am a bit obsessed with her.
One year ago I made a Voltron challenge crossover thing. www.ncls.it/g/archives/tag/alt… Now I kinda wanna do the same thing but turn them into magical girls instead, but then I realize that it's not that I want to turn premades into magical girls, it's that I want to turn *Susan* into a magical girl. All the premade-stuff I do, I only do them as an excuse to do Susan stuff, hence why I shoehorned Susan into the crossover as I always do.

Who, Armin\Seymour or Susan?
Both the "usual" Seymour and the Sergeant are cuties, and are really well-written characters to say the least. I won't say I'm really into Simpson fandom anymore, though.
And for Susan, while she *is* a nice enough premade sim, I'm not a premade sim player. That "sim voltron AU" is kinda cringy. Expecially since I referred to it as an AU instead of a challenge.
I don't even watch Voltron, I just saw pics and thought I needed to shoehorn her in.
There ARE premade sims I want to genuinely play as, draw, or write fic about sometimes, but she is'nt one of them.

Then again, the previous person I tried to do a round robin with, only wanted to RP with the characters introduced by him.
It started with Classic Who, then I introduced Jade Greenwood in (i was very taken by that obsession back then), but the other person did'nt find premade sims RPable enough, so he kidnapped Tegan and Nyssa away so they could met Gilligan and pigtails girl from Gilligan's Island and have adventures together. When the two groups met each other again, it became pretty much a RP, with me RPing Jade Greenwood, Silver Racket (who was replacing the Fifth Doctor in the RP), Hikari Eamudo (Dawn from Pokémon Diamond), and Jun Okutan (Barry from Pokémon Diamond) - and him RPing Tegan, Nyssa, Gilligan, and pigtails girl, this because he did'nt find Pokémon characters RPable either. In short, he thought Pokémon was too much of a silly game for kids and that premade sims aren't RPable enough, but I also think that Pokémon was a silly game for kids and that most premade sims aren't really RPable, just that, the only reason why I was hanging about Pokémon and Doctor Who fandoms in the first place, was to distract myself from The Sims 3 and that damned obsession.
Not that I hate Boyd but he's just a bunch of pixels. If I was straight or bi\pan, I'd find him husbando material. <3

Yesterday I downloaded Sims 3 and Appaloosa Plains did'nt load and Sunset Valley did'nt load either so I decided to deinstall it.
I felt like that the only reason i played it that much is because of that damned Susan...

At times I sort-of shipped her with other girls like Erin or Bebe. I'm a bit of an yuri fangirl but I'm aroace.
Maybe I just love queer plotlines.
But I'm sure that soon she will be one of the most famous premades because of that Susan Five song.
There are some simstories about Susan, though. Although she's slightly less popular than her canon husband\roommate Boyd, I've read more Susan stuff than Boyd stuff.
