Description A passing idea I've had for a while.

So in the Ben 10 universe, there's a cartoon called the Adolescent Anarchists about a group of teen "heroes". These chaotic teens take everything to its craziest point, like destroying their city to save it.

A TV obsessed villain is bringing all sorts of television and cartoon characters to life and this group is among the last to be created. They go off on their own and bring their own twisted and crazy sense of justice to Bellwood. They punch out jaywalkers, blast people who litter, and attacking anyone who could get more attention than them and that puts Ben in their sights.

Here's the new lineup - Blue Jay, BioNick, Critter Kid, Crow, and Novaspark.

Should it happen when Ben meets the Adolescent Anarchists or the other toons?

The thing is, Critter Kid makes it hard for me to imagine him changing into ordinary animals except freaky ones like a werewolf or a big beast.

I also imagine BioNick having probably a bazooka, a sonic cannon and a few gadgets and pieces of technology which is kept only in his half metallic body.

I also imagine Ben kinda figuring out some of their weaknesses. For example, Ben might turn into XLR8 and steal BJ's utility belt, then turn into Lodestar or Jury Rigg and mess up BioNick.

Maybe, I'm not sure yet.

I like that idea.

I can only see that happening if the Anarchists separate and Ben starts to pick them off one by one with different aliens.

Here's another idea, what if Blue Jay's utility belt contains an endless supply of tools, gadgets, and items, big and small, like the 1960s Batman. Also what if there's a running gag where everyone keeps saying that Critter Kid is not wearing pants!

Oh sorry, I kinda skimmed through that when I was up late and tired.

What I said before applied to the utility belt gag, as for Critter Kid not wearing pants, people bring it up and when it angers them Critter Kid takes to a step further and gets naked with a censor bar covering his front.

2 Questions:

Do the Adolescent Anarchists have the same abilities and personalities of the Teen Titans?

Are those blades that are on Critter Kid?

Just to be sure if I got this right:

Robin- Blue Jay

Cyborg- BioNick

Beast Boy- Critter Kid

Raven- Crow

Starfire- Novaspark

Anyway, that's some way to show that the "Teen Titans Go!" are just bunch of frauds that give the original a really bad name.

And here's a thought, what if Critter Kid has the abilities of the "Critters".

Zigwolf In reply to Drake-Ormr [2017-05-07 21:45:49 +0000 UTC]

Yes, they have the same abilities, but their powers are more annoying and cause more havoc.

Those are censor bars, he's flipping off everyone.

Yup, you got them right.

Exactly, these fakers got nothin' on the originals.

Interesting idea.

👍: 1 ⏩: 1

Drake-Ormr In reply to Zigwolf [2017-05-07 21:59:17 +0000 UTC]

How annoying for example?

Just so you know that the kind of abilities I've been thinking for Critter Kid is able to eat anything and probably can shoot quills.

The reason why I ask the personalities of the team was because of their looks, I mean Novaspark and BioNick look like they can be different from Starfire and Cyborg from "TTG!".

Still, due to the look of Blue Jay and Crow, I think they might have the same personalities of the Teen Titans Go! version of Robin and Raven.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to Drake-Ormr [2017-05-10 03:58:41 +0000 UTC]

Probably about twice as annoying as the Go! Titans.

Yeah, I knew about those ones.

They could be different, I didn't have any set personalities for these guys, just more annoying versions of their counterparts.

Well BJs personality is a flanderization of Go! Robin's super bossy control issues and Crow is just like Go! Raven minus the pony obsession.

R3D96 In reply to ??? [2017-03-09 01:57:49 +0000 UTC]

You know I actually think that if they turned TTG into villains and they faced real heroes then it would work. As long as they got the crap beaten out of them. And I mean getting the crap beaten out of them would be at the degree of the usual anime character that can take on anything but if pushed to his or her limit he will mess you up! Like angry Luffy from One Piece or Goku in his newest transformation angry.

And yet people actually like that show.

...not saying that they can't, I have dumb stuff that I like too, it's just... I can't bring myself to like a show that openly mocks the original and it's fans.

The fact that it's a waste of great voice acting talent does not help. Nor does Cartoon Network's obssesion with shilling this crap.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to PsychoDemonFox [2017-02-15 19:55:05 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I just don't get it. I've got a few friends here on DA that love TTG and defend the hell out of it, like there's nothing wrong with it at all. I watch and like a few episodes of the current Family Guy but I still admit that it's a pretty bad show now, but has some rare moments of humor.

Yup, and it's pretty hypocritical of CN to care so much about the TT voice actors coming back for TTG and not doing the same for PPG but maybe the old VAs got off light considering the current status of that show. You're right on CN shilling out TTG. I saw a day schedule for the Regular Show series finale and it was

6-7 am Gumball
7 am - 2 pm Teen Titans Go
2-6 pm Movies (Rio and The Lego Movie)
6-7 pm Regular Show Finale
7pm Teen Titans Go

That's 8 hours of TTG! Usually season or series finales get marathons leading up the premiere but instead we got 28 TTG episodes before the premiere and 2 episodes right after the finale. This kind of scheduling also causes other shows to never get many reruns. I have to actively seek out when reruns of Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and We Bare Bears because every time I tune into CN it's the same crap over and over again.

Being honest I almost prefer it but RS would never have ended, I often prefer when a great show ends without warning, even like other shows that were actually canceled, so that the last episode does not have any end to the series. So it seems that the show had never been finished and then we would not feel so empty and sad, giving an end to a show is something shocking, a farewell without goodbye is better.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Zigwolf In reply to RZGmon200 [2017-03-15 19:01:21 +0000 UTC]

I would of liked for RS to have never ended but I wouldn't have wanted it to go on and eventually get as bad as Simpsons and SpongeBob. I think many others might disagree with having a great show ending without warning. There's plot points that never get resolved and most finales end on a cliffhanger, so there's a lot we never get to find out. Having to say goodbye to a great series just shows how much it meant to us who loved it. I'll admit that I got a bit teary eyed during this finale and the one for Gravity Falls because we won't be seeing these shows again but I know that in the last few minutes, the characters are changing just like we are in real life and not staying the same like other cartoons want their characters be. I'll admit that a show that has a farewell without a goodbye hurts less but when you're looking back at a show and remembering the good moments, you remember the beginning and middle, but what about the end. The only thing that can be said is "it just ended, that's all we got". Wrapping up a show gives a conclusion for all of us to remember.

RZGmon200 In reply to Zigwolf [2017-03-15 19:53:59 +0000 UTC]

Well, an end is something that should be seen in a show with a development story, such as an action show or anime, it bothers me that they take a simple show and later put you through so much development, you do not think a change Radical that in a series of two best friends working in a park with something totally surreal in each episode, later change to a show the members of the park become part of a space program and Pops comes from a powerful race that in the end Sacrifices his life to save the universe of his evil brother?
That's why I prefer some shows where things do not change and everything returns to normal

He thinks that if there is something sadder than giving decisive end to a show, it is to give him an unfinished and incomplete end with suspense and never to continue it. Then I will mention other great shows that never ended, and the end with all suspense that made us see:

-Panty & Stocking: Corset survived, Stocking turned out to be actually a demon, slice Panty into 666 pieces to form a trail, and it was Brief's and Chuck's mission to collect all the pieces. The series ended with "To be continued in next season", that happened more than 5 years...

-World of Quest: The heroes had to recover the elemental swords, AGAIN, I understand that this show was not so popular, but it must have another end, because there is no worse end to an adventure than to start again from the beginning.

-Penn Zero: Halt-time hero: Like Panty & Stockin, the show ended with a single season and an open end with suspense, I stayed in suspense when it was revealed that there was a way to rescue Penn's parents.

-Wander over Yonder: Unlike Gravity Falls, WOY had only two seasons and ended up with a false promise from another season, showing us that the next villain would be an evil chimpance astronaut, the first thing on planet Earth seen in the series, and probably part of the Origins of Lord Hater.

-Teen Titans: Admit it, why did CN think it would be a good idea to turn the titans into a familiar version of Drawh Together, instead of continuing with the original series and solving the riddles that I left at the end of the fifth season? Even the Toodler Titans agree youtu.be/N74D9xl0b-A?t=30

Well it's not like cartoons shouldn't get development, development makes for interesting characters and stories

Look at Steven Universe where the characters and plot are way better now than when they started because the creators decided to advance instead of reset to zero.
Now look at the Simpsons, they've had 20+ seasons and they're virtually the same as they've always been. They've gone through some experiences in many episodes but they haven't changed one bit.

I'll admit that the last season in space was a jarring change but I think that was intentional. I heard somewhere the JG Quintel says that a few shows he watched go to space when they ran out of ideas and he decided to take to make that cliché and turn it into a final season. It's not really like they didn't set this up in the previous season with the scientific stuff happening in the park and us getting a small glimpse of Pop's powers and his homeplanet.

P&S: Well it may not have officially ended, but don't you think 5 years with no news on its status kinda means that it's over. All the stuff you stated was the reason that people wanted it to return and have a better conclusion.

Never saw WoQ

I don't think Penn Zero can be used as an example here, it's still airing and was approved last year for another season.

Ok, Wander Over Yonder did have an abrupt ending but at least the season's story was finished and the brief shot of MonkeyBoy wasn't too much for us to say "finish the story!"

It was all purely business when it came to CN creating TTG, if they really cared about the show, they would of gotten  someone who at least watched the show to run it. I actually think that the original TT ended fairly well if the episode "Things Change" was moved to appearing before true finale "Titans Together". Every time I hear about TT continuing, they list that final episode as a reason why.

The worst part is I don't know what we can do about it. Cartoon Network cares more about money over quality of their shows, and it's choking the life out of the channel pandering to the brain-dead masses...

...Okay so maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but goddamnit, I'm so sick and tired of this... it really doesn't help my disdain for Network Executives any...

Zigwolf In reply to PsychoDemonFox [2017-02-18 07:19:07 +0000 UTC]

WE just have to keep putting effort into watching their other shows and hope that CN wises up and realizes that 1 show does not make an entire channel work by itself.

Nope I think you're on the right level for this. Those executives need to be fired.
