Well... Turns out after all these years, I guess I owe a lot of development in my art to it.
Exhilarating experience, rather than a prison, it has been a release.

You're certainly not the only one who has this inclination. Before I started looking for this specific thing on DA, I was always left to my imagination. It's nice to finally be able to have something I can just sit back and appreciate.

I tend to think the same thing, but I've also noticed that the reason it's used so much is that it works really well with bellies.

True. Surely there's a reason behind it's overwhelming popularity. Not to mention it's rather easy to draw in detail if you are starting a new character from scratch.
It probably won't be my last sketch, but for the sake of self-improvement, I'll be working on something new.
