Bro this is probably what sans is doing on my Nintendo switch because I was on genocide run and I was trying to beat him and I went to take a break and when I came back to my switch it was turned off and I couldn’t even charge it because it wouldn’t charge and every time I tried holding the power button for 12 sec it showed the Nintendo sign and a red glitch and just turned off and it’s still doing that and I really wanna play my Undertale but I can’t 😢

I had a game like this... I did a genocide but for the life of me I just couldn't beat Sans.
I'd get close, but in the end I'm not good at video games and I just couldn't.
I eventually gave up, and the for nearly a week I just felt like shit.
It got to the point where I was having nightmares about how I'd left Sans waiting for me to fight him, knowing he was the only one left other than the King.
So I went back in and reset the world. And saved at the first point I could so Sans could at least have his brother back... And I never beat that particular save just because he'd said "If you were really my friend, you'd leave and never come back"
I couldn't face him again in that timeline. Even though it's just a game, I felt like it'd never be the same

This story assumes that US!Papyrus has knowledge of US!Frisk, the equivalent of Chara in Undertale. They know each other at this point in time.
And for me, I guess I tend to imagine the genocide half (eg. in Undertale, it's Chara) taking over once their LV is high enough. (although truthfully it's the PLAYER who leads the human into genocide, not Chara. Sadly I didn't write the Player into the story)
So you're right! Chara was the human in UnderSwap, but Frisk took over and is currently in control. As for the blood on Papyrus' chest, I hope the next page will give an answer >wO (which I hope to post up by tomorrow!)
