While not the first portrayal of rapid weight gain in a cartoon, the Passion Patties episode of Totally Spies was a watershed moment in the weight gain fandom. It has spawned hundreds of pieces of fanart in the 20 years since it's debut, and is responsible for many of the users on this site realizing this part of themselves.

I had this idea a few months ago, using my OC's Emily and April, and my friend Weightcomicguy was able to put it into motion and bring it to life. He posted a version of it here (www.deviantart.com/weightcomic… ) and this is the alt, of them in their German Happy Girl outfits.
