She finally worked on her projectile aim...So this is more of a comeback page than an actual page which fits in to my LaF storyline. I guess it would be safe to say it's set the exact number of years after page 2 of my LaF audition page as in real time, so about 3 years?
You know, Aphari getting mad at Neeka for no good reason and then really regretting it.Β
If you guys want to read back (or actually remember) I hope you understand why that single tree in the last panel is so significant... because that dark line isn't a pattern in the bark.

I think this is pretty good for showing the armour's ability, where the blades can form from the energy channeled from the gemstone, through the armour, and finally to create those ethereal blades. Not gonna lie it's also pretty good evidence of improvement since 2012 for me as well :"D

Even though this took me a life time, I am planning on finishing my spectator entry at last!

maybe its time i devoted some time to this old dusty account though! I had a look at that OCT and it looks really interesting!! I'll definitely invest some thoughts into making a character and audition

I'm not sure what brought me back, tbh. I was going to enter the walking city but then I got sick and lost interest. By the time I came back it was already so far ahead. I almost left again but then I discovered another oct and the cycle began again...
Most definitely entering Ascend! I'm really looking forward to it and I may be recycling characters that I never used or just come up with something entirely different! Who knows, my mind is an endlessly flowing fountain of characters!(no seriously, I literally have 157 original characters. please help me. I have a problem.)

i just escaped to tumblr and fell into naruto hell.
but its been exactly a year since it ended and tbh 9/10ths of the fandom scare me so i just like chilling with my kakayama people on there now lmao
maybe it was a calling, you just had some kind of epiphany? i'm actually trying to start taking art and illustration seriously now (like hopefully going to uni and shit) so maybe if i start posting online again i can get an improvement jump or something? idk it will be interesting returning after so long!!
but jfc that's a lot of ocs!! ;O; i just reuse the same old stale storylines again, so i'm gonna try and make something new... or maybe use on of my first ever ocs posted online? who knows, possibilities are endless!!

I went to tumblr way back when because of homestuck and it sapped me little by little. fandoms scare me too but now I just sit in the Magi and Tokyo ghoul fandoms and cry every time they update because they HURT ;w; I try to avoid the drama
I wish you best of luck in getting into uni! I'm planning on it but I can't r/n until I get some issues out of the way first. Keep drawing! that's the best way to improve after all.
I will most definitely stay in touch. It makes everything easier when you have a familiar face in a new OCT. Makes things more fun after all!

Back when I first started these comics, Aphari's brother was showing her how to aim better with her blades, and she could never do it right and used to get really riled up by how well Neeka could do it. In the last panel she's looking back at the tree her brother struck years ago in that training, and even though she has far surpassed him now she knows nothing will ever be the same without him.

a few things I love about your art are the eyes and how you convey mood and feelings. Your eyes are always so intense in both animals and humans!! Like you can tell what the character is feeling by how you do your eyes! I also love that your art really emits the tone and mood. Like you can really feel what said character is feeling! It's just so amazing, dear!! Β
