I used two spheres which I twisted and added noise to the model which then smoothed out to get a higher polygon count.
Quite simple but the camera placement cheats

I'm kind of a huge fan of the fact that you've crafted both a beautiful sculpture and a beautiful photo of said sculpture. And the curves on this baby are really attractive--remind me of reaching fingers, or pudgy dragon tails. Not sure. Like it tho.

Thank you so much, I hope I don't disappoint you when I say it is actually a 3D rendering

I know But it's obnoxious and silly to have to clarify "3D, digital sculpture" and "virtual camera shot" when the fact that it's digital as opposed to physical really doesn't change the fact that it's a gorgeous 3D form.

Looks really good!
No idea what it is though
Maybe add a bit some shadow inside the twirly thing and then some on the ground ?... if its a.. ground...

It's abstract, so I don't know what the background is, but I think of it as a wall.
That's why there is no real shadow in there, and the model is actually somewhat deep, and therefor it's logical that there is lighter in there, but YOU can not see it, so you just have to belief me
