After a pleasant nap, sunbathing on her new favorite rock, little Charcoal gets the idea she needs proper shelter. She's small, plump, and defenseless, the perfect picking for anything hungry that may be roaming the mountains. But... the rock she's found already feels like home... So, Charcoal won't find a shelter, but make one! Gathering fallen twigs thrice her size and waddling them under the overhang of her rock, she gets a decent hiding place by simply leaning them against her rock. A tedious activity she's started to deem fun!

While building a makeshift shelter, her environment dims; her light source is eclipsed by an unknown mass resting right beyond her home. Within seconds, the sun is replaced by a glowing red orb, faintly illuminating snow and her build, as well as the plumage and armor of the overshadowing creature. The maroon center of this orb fixates itself on her. An armored falcon has taken notice of Charcoal’s presence.

Coal shrunk down slightly but was careful to keep still. She had hoped her shoddy shelter would protect her, despite its gaps, despite the fact that the falcon's eye peered directly into hers. And it had. Miraculously, after what seemed an eternity, the falcon raised its head and stepped back, taking its time before ascending.

Why has it been a yea-

I was going to post Komla's Trial of the Explorers first, but it's been sitting in sta.sh a while and there are things I'd like to fix with it (so that's gonna be later-)
In the meantime, I've got a couple things for Char (that have also been in sta.sh) to upload c:
Also sta.sh files can't be updated anymore? I don't know whether or not it's intentional, I really hope not- Super important to me so I hope it's fixed soon?
