Last month at Entervoid.Com happened the Month of the Dead, an event where all dead guys rise from their grave, literally.With such a great thing happening I couldn't leave Anthropos in his corner, and I brought the guy up with one of the fighters I was looking up to battle for a good share of time now: 's Ghost Revolver
I wanted it to initially be a one weeker, but we've set a 3 week time to draw, for a more laid back drawing stance I guess, but as I wanted to battle more people in the month, I ended up only spending one week on it.
Characters:
Ghost Revolver,
Doctor Anthropos,
Several cameos, by their own owners, too many (aka lazy) to enlist >:I
Lines: pencilled with a red ballpoint pen, inks with several ink pens.
Colors: I3 tablet in PhotoshopCS2
Date: October 2008
Drawing time: 1 and a 1/2 week (out of 3 weeks total)

Erm... hate to break it to ya, but whoever translated this to English, or if you did it yourself, you got some grammatical problems going on here.
The art's not bad, and the concept is pretty bad-ass, so congrats on that.
I dunno how easy it is to correct a comic, but there you go.

pretty cool, but there's one glaring problem. The past tense of drink is not "drinked" it's drank.

hey! It's actually just greek for human, buuuut, I was big on reading e-papers about teleanthropos, a theory that says all humans are attached some how by technology. Like you're connected to japanese by consuming apples they produce, connected to russians by connecting to them on internet and so on.

that's fascinating! but it makes sense...in a way you could say that all of the technology a culture produces reflects who they are a society, and when it gives that technology to another culture, it hands off its own culture to them, connecting the two...its an interesting theory.
btw, if you were curious, the labyrinth is a poem about a man named Anthropos who travels through a maze that exists in his own head, trying to find his way out using a variety of methods of thinking through his actions. eventually he discovers that reality is all created by man himself, and that truth is an illusion. he ends where he began, thinking "the hedge is taller than the man" and reflecting that a bird passing by would probably think his entire predicament really ridiculous.

That's pretty nice, I should read it eventually.. like, this one comic is like 3 years old already, but I used to like this character and been planing on a comic pitch for him, so maybe I should get some inspiration from Labirynth as well!

it repeats a lot of information, so the story kind of drags,

alrighty, in the first scene he says things like "I'm sorry for those not dead," then he states he's not dead and then later he talks about how his living flesh grants immortality, then he says the same thing more poetically,
First off the problem of talking about the ones who are like him and not dead, that leaves us to wonder why the ones who really were dead didn't also eat the villians who were technically alive.
also he could just say it all in a way like
" to those cast into the pits of hell, and those I sent personaly, I greet you warmly"
it's a lot more concise, which means you could have larger panels or shorten the number of pages used.
Also it also implies he killed the ones who he brought along so that he could also resurrect them, while setting himself apart to elaborate on later.
which he does in his lines about his flesh giving life, and just wrap it into his you can seek revenge by saying it like
"We gather here today all who lust for satisfaction, for revenge! I offer you all my living flesh to consume! So you may claw your way out of the abyss!"
Yes drink my blood and walk my path to glory!"
shortened down like this you don't say life, flesh and blood more than once on the page, and you keep the poetic speech intact. So we have the same thing only more compact.
you could use this to shorten your pages down to one or two, and use larger panels to make all of it seem more epic.
that's just an example, and you could apply it in other places as well.
of course this is my opinion so take from it what you want.

Oh I see your point.. I think that back in 2008 when i did this comic, I think i made a citation from the bible that i thought that would be appropriated for this scene, so it's basically just copy pasted for most of his speech, i think except the glory part or something.
