Description

An average Unitentae of the Early Thriceous. Tentacles are usually brightly colored for display. This species in particular also utilize four horns in intraspecific combat. All Unitentae at this point lay tough, round eggs.

The Unitentae were the surviving descendants of the Shellaroos into the Thriceous period, characterized by a theropod-like body plan, a tentacle appendage on its chest area, and, coincidently, two toes, like the Flumpuses. They are active creatures that fill most large animal niches, say for aquatic ones. The Redfreckled Venator of the Segundocene had an armored tentacle, but it was the Unitentae that internalized this armor into bone. Equipped with a chewing radula and serrated jaws, there is plenty of specialization potential in these creatures.

A bunch of articles have just gotten compiled into a more concise form about these aliens.
