Description
This is a project im working on my 1st fan art in 3d , this is the Yoshi model im doing at the moment is still not finished but almost there. i still need to model the nose holes, the inside of the mouth and fix some parts and do the body rig and facial rigging. im thinking in making the eyes reflective and refractive instead of just texture whit fake highlights.i plan to make a full 3d scene for him like yoshi's story or mario world.

its hard to explain if you dont do 3d but you need to model your characters in neutral position then when all is ready to go for bone,muscle and facial setup you just move and pose it the way you want

@Pharaoh-chan i hope this helps but animation is a very extense field in 3d most of the animators dont do modeling they focus only on rig and animation.

This is really good. So was it Maya or 3D Max or some other software entirely?
Looks kind of like you modelled it out of clay like they do for the movies before scanning the model into the computer.

This looks identical to my Yoshi figurine, if not better than it. I don't know squat about 3D Modelling so I'll just say this- It looks great. I can't wait to see the finished scene.

@yoshi888 i have 3 days working on it,
@usere35 i rarely use omni lights i only use them for sun but i prefer direct light, i used some vray lights and environment reflections.
