for my entrance exam I needed to watch a movie and do research about it. the movie I watched was "the number 23" there is a scene in this movie witch holds a white girl in a white room waiting for her death by hanging herself. that moment was my inspiration for this drawing, because the first thing I thought was beautiful and the second thing I thought .... aww horrible.the thing I have always associated with beauty is a rose and since the girl wanted to hang herself I put a strop around the rose.

This is very good, the frayed end of the rope is a nice touch. Though the ultimate image of the death of beauty is falling cherry blossoms, at least to me.

jup I am quite agreeing on that... my favorite flowers are the rose and the cherry blossom so it is kind of an equal match

Roses are nice too, but cherry blossoms are just slightly better to me.
