As Seaquee evolves into Psysquid, it absorbs the energy of the seaweed it bonded with, allowing for psychic abilities from the powers of the ocean.

Psysquid is often found in the ocean, swimming from place to place avoiding humans, making it difficult to capture, since its Psychic abilities allow it to sense when a human draws near. in order to capture a wild Psysquid, you must first find a way to block its powers of clairvoyence.

Trained Psysquid become very loyal to their trainers, and it said that only then, for its trainer it has built a deep bond with, will it open and show its third eye to.

It's purple colored head and hip wraps are built from rope left in the seas by sunken and abandoned ships, which sailors have forgotten. it also serves as a focus for its Psychic energy.

So here it is. The first evolution off the boat for the Starters, "Psysquid". I know...the name....UGH! I kept trying so hard to come up with a different one all because of Psyduck, but I couldn't think up a better one, and after all the names I created I still liked how Psysquid sounded.

So obviously a little turben-arab flair has been added the second stage, along with a sort of karma-buddha flair with the six tentacle arms.
