Description #115 Happinest
Hatchling Poke'mon
Normal/Wood Types 2'3" 56.0lbs

Poke'dex:
Happinest is one of those rare elusive poke'mon in the world that seem to find their home in the Chubu Region. Some trainers and researchers can go their whole lives without ever seeing one, especially since its pre-evolved stage of Twiggle is almost completely camoflauged in its natural habitat.

For for the lucky few who manage to have a Happinest come into their life, they truly will be filled with happinest. Its body is made out of hard egg-like exoskeleton, with cute patches of color incorporated into its design. Sometimes these shapes can form patterns and different colors. However since Happinest are so far and few between, research is made rather difficult.

The end of Happinest's tail contains an egg. This egg grows through the nutrition Happinest eats. When these eggs are dropped, they contain pure gold. It is truly the only poke'mon that can turn sticks into gold, bringing fortune into the life of its trainer. Dropping "Nuggets" some times after battle.

However, the eggs atop Happinest's head are not eggs at all, they are actually head bumps formed together to the shape of the top of its head.

At one point Professor Elm of Johto theorized that the eggs atop Happinest's head became Exeggcute, however Professor Bonsai of the Chubu region later debunked this theory, after discovering they came from a ground fruit poke'mon.

Happinest's main attack is "Sweet Sigh" which lowers the opponents attack and speed stats drastically. It uses this opportunity to often escape with its attack "Flee" which guarantees Happinest can run from any battle where the opponent has suffered any status change.

Training a Happinest for battle? Trainers can rely on attacks such as "Whack" and "Stick Throw" to attack the opponent with its sticks.

Later in life, Happinest's egg formed head will harden, allowing it to use "Headbutt".

But the most powerful attack Happinest can learn is "Smile Shower" in which the twigs around Happinest forming its nest skirt and head wrap scatter to form smiley faces, then glow, and comespeeding towards the opponent with blinding speed. Should they miss the opponent, they will hit the ground and act as land mines, exploding when the opponent steps on them.

Happinest will replace these twig appengages by finding new ones in the wild. How it hold sthem up on its body is still a mystery....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Happinest evolves from the poke'mon "Twiggle" with extreme happiness in the morning, on a Friday only. It must be holding the special item "Kawaii Ball".
