Absolutely stunning 
I'll be attempting my first quadsuit this year, torn between Red XIII and, funnily enough, Wolf Link (hence me winding up here). Problem is I've never airbrushed before.
Any tips for a newb?

Hello there,
I never tried to make a quadsuit, though they are quite fascinating if the one wearing it is flexible enough to walk bend over all the time.
I just uploaded the slides of a presentation I gave quite some time back at a convention. It also includes a chapter about airbrushing. Hope this gets you started in the right direction.

This one took me around three month, though I was only working on it every now and then. Its the second fursuit I did, so I could use quite a lot of patterns / left over materials from the first one.

Your airbrushing is amazing! What kind of Β airbrush do you use? And what colors?Β

Thanks. The airbrush colors I'm using are the Createx Transparent ones. The pistol itself is a pretty cheap one, its just important that it got double action and a 0.5 mm nuzzle.

Eh, I'm not sure what you mean by pattern. All colors are airbrushed, the whole costume is done entirely with white faux fur. I created the pattern for that using a duct tape dummy.

I'm not quite sure what I meant either, but thanks for giving me a list of materials; now do you know where I could buy them? (Google isn't being very helpful today) I don't mean to bug you, I just really want a wolf link suit and yours is so awesome :3

You can buy faux fur from Mendels.com (its falled "fox" and is available in white, brown and black). The mask is made from resin which can be bought by dickblick.com (SmoothOn stuff). Guess most of the other stuff can be found around the internet, just start reading and reseaching. Creating such a costume requires a lot of time, so dont start if you are not prepared to spend that time.

Yes, I made that costume myself. Its my second animal costume (also called fursuit - because of all that fur).

I got most ideas from different internet resources (tutorials, live streams, images, ...) and the rest was trial and error. Β Though I still have to attend a cosplay convention yet.

Ich wΓΌrde eventuell noch etwas nach-airbrushen, denn an manchen Stellen schimmert noch das weiΓe Fell durch ;3 Alles in allem aber (wie gewohnt von dir xD) super Arbeit!

Ja, das mit dem weiΓen Fell das durchschimmert ist leider normal bei Airbrushing, wobei ich es nun nicht so schlimm finde. Kam vor dem Photo-Shooting auch nicht mehr dazu mich zu kΓ€mmen, da sieht man halt ungepflegt aus.
