I'm okay, I guess. Been busy with exams since last week, my last exam is on next Wednesday. Working mentally on Legacy - the story is really complex now. Like a strange blend of Tolkien, Narnia, and World Wars I and II. Completely unrecognisable from the first plot draft. Who knows Canadian coins can bring me to European History? Recently bought my first silver dollar, a rather worn 1939, for close to melt. One of the best designs done on the Canadian dollar coin. I wish I have a Peace dollar (prettiest US dollar coin, I say, but the war between Peace vs Morgan fans goes on) but international shipping prices are crazy high.
My jaw had been hurting since the past year, and it turns out I have TMJ disorder. Also been told that there's no cure, but at least now I know what is causing the pain. I thought I had dislocated my jaw or something when I saw that my teeth didn't line up properly, which would be worse.
How are you? I hope you're holding up well, I do go and read your journals when I have the time to. Someone on the coin forum was talking about a rotator cuff surgery and that he can't use his arm at all because of the pain (he had to do stuff one-handed, some things he needed someone else to help) and that he can't lay down on a bed but needs a chair. He had to drive to work too and can't take painkillers because he can't focus on what he's doing if he does.

You guess you're okay? I take it the exams haven't merely been keeping you busy but instead have you totally swamped?
What do you mean you bought that coin for "close to melt"?
I'm holding up okay. If you have been reading my journals then you know my shoulder surgery is on the 29th if all goes according to plan.
For me, painkillers have zero affect on my ability to focus, but pain is a different matter entirely. Yeah, I've done everything that fellow has because of mine, with the exception of sleeping in a chair. If I tried sleeping in a chair past experience tells me I'd wake up in an hour or two with so much pain in my neck I'd forget all about the shoulder for a while.
Have you seen my 2 newest deviations? About Theran's girlfriend, Ellisandra Fairehorn? If so, what did you think of them and of her?

Sort of. I tried pulling an all nighter to study Chemistry on a weekend and found that I had to take a nap at 1 PM. No more all nighters. Good thing I did that not on a school or exam day.
"Close to melt" means that I bought it for nearly bullion price, So, just paid for the price of silver. Around $10-12 now a dollar is considered close to melt. Silver and gold (not sure with platinum, not following that) had plummeted lately. Silver went down from something like $20-21 an oz to $16. Gold from $1300s to $1200s, but I don't care too much since I don't own gold.
I never take medicine anymore, the last time I did was I think when I had a bad cold and there was an exam the next day. My brain lagged so much that I only got something like 8 and it was multiple choice for Bahasa Indonesia (my mother tongue).
Neck pain is a bit annoying, go to sleep with a nice pillow, wake up and the pillow is flat and neck hurts. I hope you're coping well with your pain.
i haven't had the time to look at deviations, sorry. I will have more time after Dec 17 though, so I'll check them out.

All nighters are okay once in a while when it is an absolute emergency, but you want to avoid them whenever possible!
Ahh, okay.
So meds really mess with your head then? Too bad.
Most of the time it is quite manageable, but sometimes it is anything but...
Don't worry about it! Be aware though they are are both quite short so they won't take long when you do check them. "A Tender Moment" is a total of 273 words...including the title, while "Ellisandra Fairehorn - Character background" is a total of 425 words with its title.

I posted a comment on your work.
School-free doesn't mean errand-free, but today's Christmas! Day off!
I hope passed Chemistry (had a real bad lecturer halfway through the course). I barely passed my other exams, I'm not used to studying by myself, since I used to have tutors.
So your surgery is coming up in 4 days, I hope all goes well! Would this be your first surgery?

I hope you did well on your test!
Not even remotely close to my first. Though other than the 2 recent sinus surgeries it will be the first one since minimally invasive procedures became the norm. I have scars aplenty but this one shouldn't leave more than a few little dashes across my shoulder.

Actually closer to 1.5 months. Sorry for not replying earlier, the internet was broken over the weekend and I'm pretty busy now.
