Beautiful and simple in its composition which immediately attracts the viewer. With the modesty of pose and the expression of the model the picture exudes pure innocence that gives the angelic feel required by the title. The post production work has helped this with the use of blur to further soften the image.
Focus and exposure are both well controlled to give the image the sharpness requires and the lighting is beautifully controlled. The composition is good but may have been improved by having the image on the first third line giving the model a space to look into.
Overall the work has a high degree of originality in the way it is captured and handled. Is the viewer to assume that the angel is in the presence of God and His power is coming from the top left? Images that leave questions and intrigue the viewer are always difficult to achieve and this image has achieved it with its simplicity well done
