Fighting an artblock continues. It's mostly a colour practice - an hour total, custom brushes only.Castus again.

when I saw the thumbnail I thought this was a drawing of a lich. I like how you are able to make things looks so dead and dark while still being very much alive. It conveys some of the heaviness of the 40K setting through its ambiance in a way a lot of 40K art doesn't.

Last time we were fighting certain Chaos sorcerer. Castus burned his soul with Holocaust just to be sure that he will never rise again.
Well, the problem (at least for the rest of the team) was that the fight took place during the big party in the Haarlock's Mansion.
Approximately 100 casualties, mostly nobles. Collateral damage...

Heh, I don't know why, but just when I saw the picture, before I have seen a title or even author, I was thinking: oh, this one looks like Castus... I suppose it's your style hard to mistake with anything else.
