Description
This is my transformers version of ''bahamut'' (from the ''final fantasy'' series). It was heavily inspired by ''megatron'' (from the ''transformers'' movie). It's fully rigged and can transform from a tank (vehicle mode) to a mecha (combat mode) and vice versa.It was originally an old model I've reworked on lately, this time it's optimized and re-textured (unwrapped and painted). The final model contains around 140k polys, using 4x2048x2048 texture sheets, and some procedural maps.
The modeling, unwrapping, rigging, posing & animating all done in 3ds Max. Texture creation and post editing in Photoshop.

thanks, i made this one when i didn't know how to use wacom yet, so it was mouse all the way to texture and post editing

Good, the machine moster is wonderfull. I love create animal with mecanics parts. Su ddenly, you would create a pegasus robot!!!!

Wow, this is sooo close to what I see in my head when I write about my transformers stories on fan fic. Ya see, I have this whole new species I made, and the leader of the species transforms into a dragon.
