A lot of people on the internet who make a lot of mistakes claim to have autism and Asperger's syndrome. These cases are usually self-diagnosed. While thinking that this would get them sympathy from others, it actually makes people who actually have these disorders look bad. Having autism doesn't make you a non-functioning idiot. Having it isn't easy, but with patience and determination, people with autism can live relatively normal and satisfying lives.I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when I was three. Also, I have never used it as an excuse for my behavior.
So people with Assburgers, don't blame your dumbassery on a disorder, it's all you. Accept the consequences and learn from your mistakes. It's really not that hard and it would piss less people off.

I can relate your story with my brother's, he has Aspergers and I hate when people pretend to have it or make fun of it. Its not you, my brother or the other people with autism didn't choose to have it. Using it as an excuse is making fun of people with it. Thank you, for making this stamp.

At first, I never understand why Autism is being used as an excuse, but after my Mom used my Autism as an excuse (Like saying I have autism and don't know everything) in order for me to give in to her after I tried to tell her stuff like how stupid half or most people these days have become (With her being one of them), I now understand why Autism shouldn't be use as an excuse.

i remember this one guy here stelling art and tells everyone that he can draw because he has Asperser's, he also acused everyone to be a troll just because we tell him so stop stealing art (he even tolled everyone not to corect him or and stuff just because he has Asperger). we thought that he is an elementry school kid when he is realy 25. we asked if he went to coledge and he said no because he has that problem. its anoing how people use it as an excuse

I have never been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or Autism. I do however know people with Autism and Asperger's. Only one of them has every showed it. Some of them I had known for a whole year before they came out about it. One in fact is my brother. However, someone I used to know had been diagnosed with Asperger's, but he literally used it to make everyone else the bad guy. He cheated on me and when we (our group on Skype) tried to confront him about it, he just said, "I have Asperger's Syndrome!" to excuse it. Then another group member reminded him, "I have Asperger's too." At the end of the call, he said his half-assed apologies and said "And I'm especially sorry to You" to the one girl who was less of a victim than anyone else in the whole ordeal. He then said, "I'm tired and have Asperger's Syndrome so I'm going to go now." He used it to duck responsibility whenever possible. My brother is autistic, so that explains why he has a hard time learning. My friends have Asperger's, which explains why they're socially awkward. He had Asperger's, but he tried to use it to excuse cheating, stalking, and hating for no reason. Plus, he tried to shove it in EVERYTHING. He plastered it everywhere, he probably would have gone to the ends of the Earth if it meant making sure every soul knew that he had Asperger's Syndrome. He makes all the other sufferers look bad.
I have very bad asthma. As a result, I don't often run on my own free will. Sometimes I'll get bursts of energy and run to the end of the room, or sometimes I'll just be like, "I feel like running now". However, I don't always like to. If I'm about to miss the bus, I run. If I have to for gym, I run. If I'm having a hard time keeping up with friends, I run. If I'm going to be late for class, I run. However, my asthma explains why I can't run for long and choose not to run if able to opt not to. "My asthma gets really bad, but I'll do my best. I'm running low on inhaler, so I can run a few steps . . . " However, I don't go to the gym teachers and say, "I CAN'T RUN I HAVE ASTHMA YOU ARE SO MEAN AND DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?" I know it's weird to compare a state of mind to a physical condition, but it works in this circumstance. I honestly wish I didn't have asthma, and I'm sure many of my friends with Asperger's or Autism wish the same of their conditions,Β but I bet he's glad he has it so he can use it like a shield.
