I wanted to explore another design in the same universe as my last cyborg warrior. But for this one, I dialed down the gaudiness, so it doesn't melt your eyes. The last one had a few too many bright colors, making it difficult to focus on one area, so I limited it this time around. I spent a lot more time focusing on texture, so there's a mix of plastics, carbon fiber, cloth, and shiny metal. And I think that made painting this more fun.Related content

I enjoyed the high level of gaudiness in the previous image but the overall design I prefer in this one. I like the mask/headpiece more in this image, the antlers are really cool looking. I also like the robotic arms and outfit more. Both really sweet designs!

Thanks! I decided to dial down the gaudiness of this one, and pushed it to be more sci-fi than old-school warrior looking. Of the 2, I definitely prefer this one. It's fun to explore multiple designs from the same idea. I'll probably do a couple more.
