Seems my love of drawing Ronin Warriors characters has become known; here's a commission from a different RW fan, this time of the bow-boy in blue. If people started coming out of the woodwork wanting me to draw them RW stuff, I'd be a happy camper. As it is, I'm satisfied just knowing I get to draw them at all.

Haha Yeah it is. I haven't worked on any of my costumes yet :/ I guess since I finished comissioning the warlords, I get to start on the Warriors? at least that narrows it down to five? haha. Excited to see the program cover!
I was considering going to C2E2, but honestly I'd only be there to commission something and then come back and pick it up a later day and my wallet doesn't think the con is gonna be worth it when I see you guys the next month anyway.

Dude, that was my favorite show growing up. I used to create my own Ronin Warriors, too. I had a yellow one, but I forgot what I named it. Anyhoo, it was kind of an upgrade from the all the TMNT stuff I drew.Β
Those transformation scenes were amazing. Same animation for every friggin' episode, but it gave me goosebumps every time.Β

The show definitely scratched a bit of a TMNT itch. It was such a revelation to me when I found it as a kid. And I feel like we've nearly lost the art of the transformation scene. There were so many great ones in the '80s, and now? Hardly one to be found.
