Beautiful contrast between light and dark. Highly detailed and yet simple at the same time. One can feel the emotions of great love and deep heartache emanating from the piece.
You leave the viewer, the admirer, wondering; "Is that a trickle of blood running down her cheek, or, perhaps, a sad make-up muddied tear?"
Life is a balance and everything around us is part of that. You depicted such in your artwork perfectly.
