Description
The plastic type can be superficially described as "rubber blobs with tentacles" (that's what a generic plastic type pokemon would look like xD)More sophisticated, Plastic can be compared to Steel. Both have a sub-theme of artificiality to them (creatures made of materials that otherwise seem unnatural), but they are quite opposite in properties. Whereas Steel is sturdy and fixed Plastic can deform and has no fixed shape.

While steel specifically was created by humans, metal and ore is very natural. So I feel like a lot of the Pokemon in the type fit into the world very well.

I wonder, why are DNA/Cell/Stomach based pokemon Plastic-type?
Well, it make sense that Mega Banette is a Plastic-type. It was a discarded toy and get plastic-attribute! It is basicly a garbage bag!
I have question, how is Dark-type, the evil-type, super-effective againist Plastic type?
Plastic versus Poison and Fairy made sense. Plastic prevent poison and is pollution to Fairy.
Now that I think about it, Plastic type is a weird but interesting type.

Actually you're right, that's totally what I think of when I see her dress. Although since she's based on a Japanese witch yokai, her typing does work fairly well.
