Lovely artwork, I love how you put paint on the whole area, not just for the painting of the person, and it gives the background some texture that itsn't too much. If I have anything to complain about, it would be that I would like to see what she is holding more clearly. However, that doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. It looks awesome either way.

You know, I watched only one of your vids on YouTube [not because I don't like your awesome style or anything like that, I do] but from that one vid as soon as I saw this picture on the DA front page I recognized it as being your work. That you've cultivated such a unique, recognizeable style as an artist really speaks to your tallent and expressiveness. I loved watching your watercolor work by the way, you really opened my mind to how I can better make use of them myself.
I love how your work has such a sureal quality to it, but at the same time the human elements peak out at you from underneith the impression of reality. Your eyes are always very piercing. I may be reading too much into it, but I get a very humanistic message from your work; and a very nice message it is. Excellent work

For a first time using oil, this is a pretty damn good start. You already have developed a technique and use with the paint that just reeks of professional oil painter, this is a stunning piece.

This is beautiful, I see quite a few of these done and they appeal so much to me. I have no clue how you would of done this though and I'd really love to see how it is! Is there any tutorials or step by steps for this type of oil painting? That would be the best!
Thanks for sharing another great piece! I love it!

you seem to usually use more diluted colors, nice change of pace with using a more opaque medium but still in your signature style. it's really lovely and i really admire your desire to continue to learn!! if i were to give a critique i would say some of your other pieces are much more effortless and cohesive, but this is still more amazing and beautiful

If you hadn't stated otherwise I'd have no reason to think this painting looked like anything other than exactly what you wanted.

"isn't a great work"
Hmm...I think we'll have to extremely disagree on that one, this is fantastic!
