Poor Chihiro...she doesn't look too happy here. This works probably more symbolic than anything. Now allow me to explain this work...

As I said in this:[link] soon after Allen is discovered to be the 14ths host, Chihiro is suspected to one day turn on the order and/or become a fallen one. The reason for such suspensions is because Leverrier and Komui discover that Chihiro's mother is a Noah. Not only that but Chihiro is later caught sneaking into central agency and stealing certain files of a certain exorcist: Yu Kanda. Chihiro's reason for stealing the file is because she learns of something named "The second and third exorcist program" and becomes curious so she steals the file. After reading it, some of the scientists(don't ask me who) discover Chihiro had broken into central agency and stole private files. And it doesn't stop there. Hevlaska tells the order that shortly after Chihiro discovers what her fathers true nature was, which can be found in this work:[link] , Chi's syncro rate with her innocence begins to drop and she begins to act differently around the order.

As time wares on, Chihiro develops a secret extreme hatred for the order. For many reasons. For one, she hates the order for what they did to the man she loves, Yu Kanda and his friend Alma Karma in the second exorcist program. She finds out the true nature of the order when she first meets Leverrier and Link one day while passing by the meeting room where the generals were holding the meeting (episode 90 something of the anime...). Chihiro also hates the order even more when she witnesses Alma Karma's memories with Allen and Kanda, which is manga chapter 190 and 191. She also witnesses the awakening of Alma Karma and the fight between Allen, Alma, and Kanda. And she also becomes aware of the third exorcists which is the fusion of akuma's DNA into an exorcist to make them part akuma.

After all this crap happens, Chihiro turns into a different person as I said. She acts darker and always fakes emotions. And her syncro rate with her innocence continues to drop, pushing the risk of her becoming a fallen one. To prevent the order losing another exorcist, Leverrier orders the crows to capture and imprison Chihiro at central agency. There she discovers the others had suspected her of being a traitor and is locked away in a cell. Following that Leverrier decides to try something new central agency had been working on in secret. The crows perform some sort of ritual on Chi which causes red marks to appear on her hands and legs and chest. These markings will keep Chihiro's syncro rate from falling any lower so she won't be able to become a fallen one and will force her to use her innocence against her will. However, since this experiment is new and had never been used before, it could very possibly kill Chihiro at any time. Chi is the first exorcist this experiment is performed on and now Chihiro is bound to the order forever, no matter what. And thats not even the worst part. Those markings will also be able to tell if she tries to use her innocence to attack anyone or anything in the order and if that happens, it will send a wave a pain through her body. Think of it as a shock collar in a way. If she tries to do something bad, the marks will punish her for it, almost as if shes cursed.

Chihiro is kept in her prison cell at central agency and is only released when she is to go on assignment. After an assignment is complete, she is returned to her cell and locked up. She is not a loud any visitors or any contact with anybody in or outside the order. This includes other exorcists. If she disobeys, she is tortured horribly, but not to the point of killing her. Leverrier believes this is a fitting punishment for a girl who was going to turn against the order and become a fallen one in the future.

On a side note: While she is locked away in the prison cell at central agency she kinda goes...well insane. She starts doing things like tearing off her skin, as she believes that will destroy the marks that had been put on her by the crows. She also hurts and cuts herself and tries several times to commit suicide to escape the hell that is the Black order but always fails. And when Chi does these things, she is punished by central agency who sends her to a torture chamber as punishment which hurts her both mentally and physically. Poor Chi D:

I'm rly sorry if thats too confusing I know it doesn't make much sense but I tried to be a descriptive as possible....

Short version of this storyline: Chihiro comes to hate the order. Leverrier suspects her of becoming a fallen one and traitor for various reasons and imprisons her where he has crow perform a new experiment on her. The experiment gives her what could be known as "curse marks" and will keep her from becoming a fallen one. She is then kept in her prison cell until she has missions and then after missions, she is put back into her cell, like a pet in a cage. She is not aloud to communicate with anyone or try to hurt/kill herself or else she is punished by central agency.

Btw, I tried to do a darkness/light thing on this pic. The red on the dark side of the pic is blood, to represent the gore and violence of when Chi goes into battle. The light reflects how the order is suppose to and SHOULD be but is not. The words on the pic are said by Leverrier when he first locks Chihiro up in her prison cell. So just like Lenalee, Chihiro can never escape the order or being an exorcist.

And guys, I'll just note that the pic of Kanda stabbing Chi found here:[link] is a nightmare Chihiro has when she is first locked up in prison. I decided to just make it a dream so it doesn't rly happen...yet.
