I thought I'd post both cards here to show how and why I approached each composition. The original two card descriptions Blizzard gave me were so perfectly complementary (Horde Shaman with electrical footsteps versus Alliance Warlock with fiery footsteps) that I decided to intertwine the two as mirrored bookends.From the Worldbreaker Warcraft trading card set

I do not play wow, but I see the WOW in both works (play on word text there...). They look great and I love the footsteps.

lol, wait, lol, sorry in advance for anything i say, lol, great pic, but i'am seeing something weird, the environment is awesome, their faces were great, but their armor was a bit inaccurate, especially the tauren he or she looked a bit different, the burning foot prints were mind blowing, my rating is 5.8/6.0. iam sorry but iam not easily entertained.

Oh, this is lovely. I love the details in the elemental effects, and just how well they parallel each other. The worgen's ferocity is really outlined, and the tauren's sage, serious look just... Suffice to say I really love the details. XD; Wicked!

the burst on the worgen if he's destro will damn near global that shammy. 1400 resilience or not. ;-P

Ok first off I have no love for any hored, at all, too many kill me while I just minding my own business and tying to stay out of there way. But I do have to say awesome Picture, and love the Fire vs. Ice, beautifully done.

Simply amazing! I don't like the tauren's expression that much..so grumpy. But both footsteps and the thunder/fire look so great. Damn!

It goes beyond my understanding how to make something like this in a program even with a digital pen and not by hand ( I need at least a sketch first 
If it's okay to ask, what program do you work in? Personally I edit my drawings in photoshop, but I bet you have something a bit more fitting for this..!
