Ok, so I recently discovered textures! (thanks to =Hedwigroxmysox101 ) And I realized that many people do not know how to use them. So here is my first ever tutorial on how to use textures in Paint Tool Sai. I hope you find this useful and I hope you can read my writing OTL. Hi! Thanks for this tutorial! My problem just is that I can't get my pic under the texture. Does the picture have to be the exact same size as the texture to pull it off? The problem is that i'd like to get a texture to my already drawn pic.

Awesome! Just a question- Say my texture is blue, and my characters color is black. Once I put the texture in the color, the color changes to a weird navy blue. How do I change the color of the texture?

idk if you figured it out already but you can change the texture layer's saturation to 0 using the "hue and saturation" option (ctrl+U)

may i ask how you turn a coloured texture to grayscale to use under?

Go to filter -> Hue and saturation and play around with it...make sure the layer you want to grayscale is selected...XD
