No tutorial... I made it up as I went.

I used only 1 program: The GIMP.

In short it was allot of brush work, layering and shading effects.

As much as I would love an art trade, I just don't have the time and energy to spend on something that won't pay the bills. This map took several weeks to finish... so, you see... that's a no... sorry.

They say life begins to suck when you become an adult, but the truth is, life begins to suck when you need to think about money.

Just out of curiosity (since I really like art trades) what did you have in mind for an art trade? ^_^

oh i didnt know you put that much work into the map, sorry about that.

but i was gonna probably have you request something, and i'd draw it, in return for a mpa, but i'm not that good, say many people... have a look in my gallery, many of thiose drawings i did arent god becuase i didnt spend time on them to make them good....

Yeah, these pics really require alot of effort... this map took the longest I think, but most of my best stuff usually takes several days to get finished.

I took a look at your gallery and I think it's nice! The deviations look like a bunch of "sketches"... not all out illustrations. I'm sure, though, that if you put your self to it, you'll come up with some awesome stuff! ^_^

like i said, i need a tablet for complete and solid/perfect lines for the characters... its too hard to do it the way i do it now...
