Description
This is an idea for an Ultraman "redesign" I’ve had for some time, and I decided to finally do a colored concept of it.The idea was to base his red body pattern on the original, and “raise” it to give him an armored look. It’s more or less a redesign in the same sense as Ultraman Powered and Great being redesigns, so I affectionately call this Ultraman Iron due to his armored - "ironclad" - form.

Eh, only thing I referenced to Powered were the "wings" on the forearms. The overall idea was to take the original's red patterns and turn them into armor.

Awesome name & great armor design, I wish more modern Ultramen tried to pull off the biomechanical look Tsuburaya originally planned (I still like the traditional looks too mind you, but I think with modern suit effects the ultra heroes could be made to look as life like as the monsters they fight).
