hello! i am so happy that i finished this before my vacation ends! and at least the cold i mentioned in tachyon is also going away, somewhat. i spent the whole of yesterday doing this and i am so damn happy by the way it turned out! i also like the sort of jungle feel it has to it as well! this is by far the best of the series and probably of my entire gallery as well and is also my favourite. however, 'day and night' might give it a little competition. its also somewhat different from the previous images in the series, mainly the angle on the rings and the placement and size of the largest moon. biggest difference is the fact that the rings are asteroids instead which is a huge difference in my work! i spent like 2 or 3 hours working those rings! used a small asteroid field pack from the deviant ChrisCold and then i expanded on it. so many thanks goes to him. it definetly paid off, especially in the depth factor! the image also looks much more professional this time and the lighting is so much better! this is also one of my biggest files ever at nearly 1.20 GB and at around 200 layers!
so please enjoy the image guys and feedback as well as cooments, critiques and favs are welcomed and appreciated! also gave you guys a little poetry down below.

Boson

Lurking in the shadows out of sight, the boson sits there in all of its humbleness, waiting to give its support to those that pass it.
Whether that support be a push or pull or even to justify one's existance,
Its important is underestimated by many.
Yet, without this importance, many are of no meaning and their own existance unjustified.
While most use it without giving anything back, it does not matter to the boson as its role is being fulfilled,
A role that once fulfilled,
Adds more stability and meaning to what is the universe.
This alone, is enough to the boson,
As now its own existence is justified,
An existence that helps to bring clarity to the chaos of existence and its own mysteries.

MAGNIFICENT!!! It's so magnificent, it's almost as beautiful as the drawing of R136a1! go and give yourself a pat on the back and go watch youtube poop's to treat yourself. here's a example: Spongebob forgets to feed gary. that sort of stuff happens in a YTP. wait, when did this become a critique about youtube poop's? i guess i can get carried away. (ok, i'm just stalling so i can reach the 100 word minimum, the first sentence is really the whole crituque. Oh Wait, i'm almost to the 100 word minimum!) So this is my 2nd critique and i- I'm at the 100 word minimum, no need to stall.

There!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-Element In reply to Raenwyn [2013-04-15 21:01:30 +0000 UTC]

thanks, glad you like it! can you be a little more specific as to what you mean by the 'soft effect', please?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Raenwyn In reply to Alpha-Element [2013-04-15 21:49:50 +0000 UTC]

I don't really know how to explain lol ... Look at my last work and look at one of yours, you can see that your picture is more soft than mine. And i don't know how do you do that :3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpha-Element In reply to Raenwyn [2013-04-16 01:37:19 +0000 UTC]

probably because i use softer nebulas and textures. also, my atmospheres are a little puffy and dont cut off sharp. my shadows also have a greatef transition from night to day. i also use lighting. for example, the light rays, contrast, brightness and colour layer to blend everything together.
