i'm still working hard on the gundam fan art, got around 40% done so far, but in the mean time, i manage to dig out all my old sketches and development for my alphapilot.

1. I originally painted the Alphapilot on the year2000, poster color and water color mixed, and it turn out 'SUX'

2. On 2002 i decided to remake another alphapilot version 2.0 i have the entire cockpit as well as the pilot's g-suit redesign. the mecha below was originally plan to be compose to the background, but later i find the whole piece of art work too compressed and crowded, so i drop the mecha instead.

3. When the whole design is finallized, a rought layout was drawn.

4. When i'm happy with the rought, i slowly out-line out all the details with mechanical pencil, then scan into to computer to do some digital touch up.

5. Using Adobe illustrator, i have the holographic green grids, maps, and the marking.

6. Then i did a rought photoshop coloring and rought composition done to test out the color key and the style

7. Ok i'm happy with it, so i slowly bit by bit color the whole piece the bigger version can be found here [link]

8. After the coloring process i have the image flatten then with a new file compose all the hologram an the marking together. then the lighting and the effects.
