Three in a row! Truth be told Lothryss is among my favourite pokemon I’ve yet designed. It was really fun to render. Also I’m a sucker for non-water type aquatic pokemon (So be warned, this will not be the last)Based On
-Pele’s Hair (AKA Nornahár)
-Desert Glass
-Fur Bearing Trout (AKA Loðsilungur. The icelandic equivalent which is also poisonous)
-Thrissops (Which I believe translates roughly to “Hairy Eye” or something like that)
-How well preserved the fossils of Thrissops are (Like seriously the thumbnail for its wikipedia page is gorgeous)
-Lionfish
