Description Ugh, these are months old. I took the time to practice sketching faces that are asymmetrical, older, fatter, skinnier, misshapen, with large teeth, or no hair, or huge foreheads... All in an attempt to learn something more about how this kind of stuff operates. Some of these are studies from photos of odd-looking people from sites that collect myriads of such photos, others come straight from my empty head.

You can kind of see a progression from top to bottom as it got easier to exaggerate features. It's kind of like stretching. At first you don't feel terribly comfortable doing it, but as you warm up, you're able to stretch farther and deeper and it becomes easier. I should repeat this experiment again sometime soon to see if it's any easier now.

Yes, I have no idea why the Hulk is there.

I really like these, I definitely need to try something like this, I always try to do such "finished" pieces but I think a practice like this would really help
