Thanks very much! Good question about the nature of immortality -- I imagine that time would lose meaning after a certain point. Existence itself would probably become an entirely different category. In certain shamanic or animistic traditions, rocks are held to be alive, but of course they are very, very old. Some believe that by consulting a rock (and I'm told that there are various ways of doing so), one can get some helpful insights that only the near-immortal might possess
