i don't hold full credit for this piece cos it was done in a tutorial involving a tutor
having said that the technique used here (dodge and burn) really helped establish mauve's plastered-skin texture, and i will definitely re-use it in the future

I know you didn't do the skin tones, but I think it's creating the right harmony for the image. I simply love the scruffy hairdo with the texturised look. An idea next time you trim your hair?

thanks! i coloured the skin with base skin colour, then use the BURN tool on photoshop to darken it. make sure the brush strokes are wide. keep applying it till you're satisfied. then use the DODGE tool (same icon) to add in the lightlights. it's great, you should try as well!!

I have paint shop pro but I`m sure it has the tools as well. I`ll check it out. Thanks for the advice!

thanks! hope it works! my tutor told me dodge and burn are actually photography tools in photoshop, so hopefully psp has them as well

Wow!! I love the detail and the flesh in it's design how it looks almost plastic (which would work if she's a fembot). The pose and overall feel of this is so nice!
